another qulity vid from JT, congrats on the new promotion.
I’ve seen this same technique being taught by Marcel Ferreira of American Top Team Deerfield Beach. The best teacher of gi and no gi jujitsu hands down.
Great Counter to the Sprawl
old stuff, works very well for me.
mmmmmmmmm, usually i don’t use douple leg takedown to prevent anaconda choke or guillotine but jt here give me good idea how to use the counter of opponent to your advantage . if u practice this technqiue and u can do it very fast before opponent recovery u will have dangours technique .
sooo nice jt. keep up the good work
Wow! Even though i have seen this technique before, JT has shown me some valuable small details i have missed in the past. I know how the smallest detail can sometimes make the biggest difference between winning and losing a match. I will most definitely drill this move over and over again! Thanks again for not holding back valuable information that some of the best instructors do.
Verrrrry good move but your teaching technique is superb
Man, this is awesome. This is an older move but the details provided with the weight on the opponents back with your head and the contact with the arm makes the move so much more practical. I always had a trouble shooting that knee through but now I think with these slight adjustments, it makes the sit through so much more effective.
SNEAKY COUNTER MOVE WE’LL BE TRYING IN CLASS TODAY THANK YOU JT AND CONGRATS ON YOUR PROMOTION!
GOD SPEED !
really good technique.
This is a great move. It’s a true oldie. It’s good to see the basics receiving the focus they deserve.
Great Technique!
exactly how its done JT. great transitions
Great techniques JT. I´m a no-gi submission Grappler from Guatemala and since we dont´t have high level instructors like Master Lloyd and yourself down here, your techniques have been vital to de further development of my game. It has opened a whole new world of opportunities for me. Thanks for posting such relevant and innovative material keep up the great work and congratulations on earning your black belt.
Great video. Congrats on the BB!
All you youngsters in High School Wrestling might want to drill this one extra long. It will pay off on two different mats. I had no
idea my college coach knew BJJ?!? I learned this in 1989 in wrestling and he promised me
I’d never see it again. Lloyd you guys are doing a good rock solid job on teaching interesting and effective moves. I’ve seen one
move to 2 years that didn’t work and that was probably my fault.
JT congrats on black.
this is definitely an oldie but a goody nice work guys
congratulations on your black belt its just the begining!!!!
Flawless technique I love em.
Amazing video. A great way to start cutting angles and attack from multiple directions.
yeah i like it when i train with heavier guys i get stuck in this position quite a lot.Maybe this will be no more RROOOAAAARRRR.;)
Classic move + smart detail = Great technic
Thanks
GREAT!
Great teaching style with a lot of detail. Great move as well. I’m already a BJJ black belt but I’m still getting these dvds!
This is a basic wrestling move called a peak out.
