gunna try it tonite let you know!! but looks dope..

  • Andrew says:

Great technique. If you get really good at this type of giullotine, you’ll catch a lot of people.

  • dustin key says:

that looks like a sneaky choke. It seems it would catch the guy off-guard cause he would be expecting you to go for the conventional giullotine.

  • Doug says:

sweet. I’ll use that for sure.

  • Jared Seger says:

Very good technique, most people don’t ever see it coming

  • Chris Reichert says:

good technique , I had no clue about this one before seeing this video!

  • jonathan says:

    simple enough

  • Kawika R says:

This technique is a lot more effective than the old school guillotine people would usually go for. Sweet video!

  • Dave says:

    Unbelievably simple,,,looks very effective

  • Warren A. says:

It looks clean. I like that it is not a traditional guillotine, which leaves other options available if they are able to counter that move.

  • Kevin says:

so cool. I’ve seen this before. But not this level of detail. I always had trouble hitting it. This is sneaky enough and with good timing I can trust it to work.

  • Pete says:

Awesome technique! I learned a variation on this technique, but I like this setup better. Thanks for sharing it!

  • Rudy Sims says:

nice i never looked at the guillotine that way thanks jt. sweet video

  • Gomay says:

Yea i’ve sound a standing variation of this a few years ago on onzuka.com ..however, i’ve never seen it during a sprawl. Seems slick..considering, it’s in a position when a person is expecting a ‘traditional guillotine’ attempt or someone to take their back.

  • Kevin says:

Very good instruction, simple and easy to follow.

  • Damon Ballard says:

So that’s the infamous 10 finger guillotine. Thanks.

  • Ajahni says:

The beauty of this choke is in it’s simplicity. This is an in the moment “in the flow” choke that will catch your opponent by surprise. Of course the follow up contingency move if this fails is the anaconda choke or a brabo choke variation. Nice stuff!

  • Big Marv says:

Excellent! He is becoming the T1000 of grappling. The Terminator.

  • Bruce says:

great move, simple and effective. no flash, just results.

  • Tony says:

this is a great and easy choke to learn.Seems to be a forgotten technique. I will be sure to use this in my next practice session

  • aaron snow says:

amazingly simple yet very affective, a good one for unsuspecting shooters, i can see this working quite often, thanks again JT!

  • Joshua Allen says:

Killer guillotine im going to work on that one.

  • Harlan says:

    Nice, Simple and effective

  • Chris Robinson says:

Great stuff as always. Keep it coming lloyd and co.

  • A.B. says:

Totally going to show the class this one tonight after a pull it on someone when we’re rolling, this one is simple and effective.

    Cheers

  • Larry says:

    simple and effective.

  • Josh says:

Would have been good to know when I was a wrestler :)

Just do that the first time a guy shoots on you, and even if you don’t get the tap he’s not going to want to shoot again.

  • Rouven says:

I’ve allready seen this one at a seminar from a student from Nogueira. But your explanation is way better and more simple to understand and to apply. Last time I did try it but put it away but I will retry it now again but your way. Thanks

  • Al says:

    nice…gonna try it tonight!

  • Michael says:

Excellent. Can this choke be used other than a sprawl or standing?

  • rob says:

nice move love it. now i may not lose the choke!
    thanks

  • Keith says:

Nice!!! Thanks for sharing. He does a great job explaining in detail.

  • Andy says:

real simple but i bet i works like a champ.

  • Lucas says:

This is nice and sneak. I am and everyone else is used to the regular guillotene. People are not going to be expecting this one here. Thanks again. I think I can pull this off tonight. But ofcourse like master lloyd irvin says…you have to drill it.

  • lorenzodamarith says:

    hello,

coach torres, that is one EVIL little technique you have! a couple of us just did it and, well, it hurts a lot worse than it looks!

fantastic stuff! the technique was easy to get, because the instruction was so clear. nothing left out.

    appreciate it, coach torres!

    thanks

  • Keith Daniels says:

    Wow “10 Fingers of Death”

  • Chris says:

10 finger guillotine had been so effective when used against me in the past, glad I now have the details to apply it against someone else!

  • Scott J says:

Awesome – wow – thats something to aspire to…..

  • Joe Villalpando says:

    hahaha! I LOVE ICE CREAM!!!!

  • Sick!… ive seen this one on the chin strap video by Luis Gutierrez from South Florida.Keep um coming!
    Jason Vigil

  • Norbert says:

I like it. I believe Leo Vieira and Rob Drysdale refer to it as the T-Rex choke.

I really like it though. Effective!

  • Thats pretty bad arse. Does anyone know if the blade of his hand is going to the artery on the left side of the dudes neck or is it crushing the voice box? IM yet to practice the guiletine, mos tof the chokes ive done are for the artery.

  • Jason says:

Wow, excellent technique. This is something no one is expecting in my gym. At my age and level these little tips are keeping me competitive with the younger guys.

    Thanks a ton Lloyd

  • wael says:

i like this choke it is easy to stupe

  • Ed says:

    Nice…simple, but looks effective.

  • Greg says:

I have been shown this technique by several people and even tapped to it once. Yours explanation is by far the clearest! Now I can serv e it up! Someone is going to ‘taste’ that 10 finger buffet tomorrow :) Please keep ‘em coming!
    Thanks!

  • mike says:

A real master move! Master it or it will master you!

  • Chris says:

    Nice.

  • Drew says:

Simple and to the point! No need to fight for the guillotine, everyone expects that, with this they won’t know what hit’em, the guys are going to trip with this!

  • Ryan says:

Nice technique, I would like to see it in action. I am a little skeptical on using it on a very skilled opponent, it just seems like it wouldn’t be that hard to escape. Any chances on giving discounts to the people who also order the Back Attack Series (gi)?
