  • mike says:

    very slick guys!

  • Kevin says:

I always thought there was a way to do that from there, but this is smart stuff. Never would’ve thought of that.

  • scott says:

never thought of that failed armbar attempt can turn into such a great position!

  • jonathan says:

    beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Greg says:

all I can say is WOW!
OK I can say more – Thank you!
and This is beauty in motion
I am drilling it RIGHT NOW

  • Brian says:

I use this technique a lot, but I never realized that detail where he pushes Mike’s back with his knee. That is really going to help make this work on the more advanced guys.

  • Big Marv says:

    Damnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!

  • Jason says:

    Nice!

  • Adrian says:

  • Mark says:

you guys continue to inspire me to get my ass on the mat and up my game. you guys keep this stuff coming and the game will continue to evolve to a new dimension. time to train, peace fellas!

  • Kawika R says:

  • dustin key says:

    Thanks for the exellent technique!

  • dustin key says:

Thanks for the exellent technique! I will try this tonight

  • Josh says:

Sick. It’s beginning to seem like any time you have at least one leg around your opponent’s midsection/chest (full guard, arm bar position, etc.) there’s some way you can swing the other leg around behind him and get the other hook in to take the back.

  • Lucas says:

OHHHH SNNAAAPPPP! That is sweeettt!! I wish I was up there training with you guys on a regular basis. But….its not realist for me at this moment. Thanks for the time and studies you guys have put in to this art and into inovating other techniques. I believe in all you guys do. All the stuff you guys perform and take your time to teach us. Thanks again

  • Eddie B says:

I am over 40, had over 30 full-contact stand-up fights, studied 3 martial arts to BB and wrestled in High school. I will never fight or compete myself again but I put my white belt on every time I watch Lloyd’s stuff. I still love to learn and feel it is the thing that gives me the greatest joy. Thanks so much!

  • Brendan says:

that’s an excellent transition, definitely something that i’ll give a go tomorrow at class.

  • david says:

sick! now i have an option in case they block the triangle.

  • Mike says:

Very very slick and it works! I pulled it off twice in class tonight then drilled it for a while.

  • Matt says:

    This is slick

  • Joe says:

I’m going to try that…pretty sweet!

  • Jon says:

Nice transitions! Thank you for allways putting up Great stuff!

  • Zach says:

    Nice transition!!!!!!

  • Doug says:

Never would have thought to abandon the armbar. Seems counter-intuitive, yet nicely effective.

  • Matt says:

Very sneaky. Do you find you have to really drive the “knee to the back” to push him forward or is it a momentum thing?

  • Bruce says:

great move, i’am glad team lloyd irvin is on top of things, every video i get you help me suprise some of the more advanced players in the gym.

    thsnk you

  • Drew says:

Thats good! I like how that flowed from the arm bar to the back, instead of fighting for the arm bar or triangle flow over to his back with less resistance!

  • pablo says:

  • Verne IronWng says:

    Nice move

  • Ryan says:

Come on, that is basic stuff. I have been doing this move for a while now. But if you didn’t know how to do it it would have been a great video. Your style of videos is pretty nice and I look forward to the dvds. When is the release date?

  • jim says:

beautiful, very nice transitions. I could use that now on my black belt instructor. SHHH

  • Eugene says:

Slick Maneuver! Seems like it would really be effective. I’ll be sure to try this next time i roll! Love the vids, keep up the good work guys.

  • Joe Villalpando says:

Awsome! its always a strategy game, and your more likely to prevail if you got more options….

  • Nice video. thanks

  • Romeo says:

    Good stuff. Simple too.

  • Chris says:

I have always used this technique but missed certain details that JT mentioned. I especially liked the knee hitting Fowler forward.

  • spencer says:

    Dude I love it. smooth

  • ranson shepherd says:

great details and awesome transitions. Great work gentlemen

  • Jerome says:

Another excellent move! Once again I am grateful with the sharing of knowledge. If there is a way to attack from the back JT will find the way. Practice makes perfect and that is what I will do to master all the free back attack techniques being shared from Coach Irvin. Position before Submission…Thanks Coach!

  • Rudy Sims says:

sick!!!!!!!!!!! i will start using and working on the move.

  • Andrew says:

    Nice, simple, move.

  • aaron snow says:

another mind blowing technique. you all at lloyed irvin never disapoint- this is so technical. again i am blown away with this sequence, thanks again JT.

  • Keith Daniels says:

As always good quality stuff. We will be drilling it

  • admin says:

It’s very important to drive the knee into the back on most people.

  • Sammy says:

Very slick transition. Everything I have seen Lloyd turn out has been very impressive. A good teacher produces good students, a great teacher produces great students–Mike and JT are great jj players.

  • David says:

Awesome as always! You guys are simply the BEST!

  • Andy says:

    that was nice

  • Joshua Allen says:
